Our Steel Fabrication Projects
Vary Engineering completes all projects to the highest possible standard, ensuring the integrity of your steel fabrication works, regardless of the size of your project. We work closely with independent structural engineers to provide the necessary computations and documentation to ensure our projects comply with the relevant standards. Here are some examples of the projects we have worked on.

Barwon Water: Decanter Systems Replacement
Built in 1997 the original decanter separation systems were originally built from steel. Having since corroded the system required a replacement. A duplication of the existing systems, upgraded to anti-corrosion solutions in stainless steel will now last a lifetime. Works completed at both Lorne and Apollo Bay sites.
Stevens Falls Development – Otway Civil
In conjunction with Otway Civil, Vary Engineering has been awarded the tender to provide a state-of-the-art infrastructure which will allow those living with disabilities safe passage to the waterfall viewing deck, through the construction of a boardwalk system originating from the carpark. This project also includes a complete redevelopment of the existing camping area.

Barongarook Creek Bridge (Princes HWY) Replacement
Instrumental as the principal welding contractors on this job, Vary Engineering worked with project engineers to establish the temporary bridge which minimised traffic impacts for commuters on the Princes Hwy during the construction of the new bridge This project took 12 months of welding, steel fabrication and balustrations, from structural steel.
Australian Lamb Company Expansion
Vary Engineering is the principal welding contractor for this project. With many factors coming into consideration our broad spectrum of welding skills has been integral to the success of this project, with knowledge of structural livestock handling systems, general construction and safety infrastructure.

Victoria Alpine Bridge Replacement – VEC (Downer)
Vary Engineering worked on this project as part of the Building Works Package the Victorian government had invested in to upgrade bridges across regional Victoria. Our role in this project was the splicing of steel beam piles. As foundation piles were driven up to 20 metres below ground level, the joining of universal beams were required to be carried out onsite through all weather conditions. These highly complex and intrinsic welds were independently assessed and certified ensuring our fabrication works met the highest possible quality of structural welding.
